Generator Failure — Continuity Under Pressure
Mid-build on Wednesday, the site generator serving the HTG WiFi cabin failed. Mains power was gone. For most operations, that would mean a pause in service — calls going unanswered, monitoring going dark, the support desk going offline.
Not for us.

The EcoFlow battery power station — part of our standard event deployment kit — took over immediately. At 89% charge and with 14 hours of estimated runtime, it kept the WiFi cabin operational throughout: internet live, support desk active, VoIP running, monitoring uninterrupted. Communications were managed conservatively to extend battery life, but client services continued without interruption.
Generator power was restored within the hour. Total client impact: none.
This is precisely what business continuity planning looks like in practice. Not a document. Not a checklist. A system that keeps running when something unexpected stops working — because that scenario has been planned for, equipped for, and tested.
Arena 2 and Arena 3 — A Late Finish
With the power situation resolved, the team pushed on through what was a long and hot day on site. By the end of Wednesday evening, Arena 2 and Arena 3 had been completed — masts up, access points installed, links commissioned.

It was a late one. In temperatures that had pushed well above comfortable working conditions all week, the team completed two full arena coverage zones before calling it a night — leaving Arena 1 and final commissioning for Thursday.
The festival opens Friday. The network will be ready.
